Sherry Wen has been with
Research & Planning since 1994.
She has
a Master's degree in Resource Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
She provides Unemployment
Insurance (UI) Trust Fund projections, other UI funds projections,
average UI tax rates, UI tax adjustment factors, maximum and minimum UI
benefit amounts, taxable wage bases, and various analyses for UI legislative
purposes. In 1997, she and her staff created a Wyoming UI profiling
statistical model and have been providing updated information for this model
since then. Sherry also supervises the following projects: various UI claims
statistic reports, growing and declining industry reports, and UI profiling
models.
