Doug Leonard, Senior Economist
Doug Leonard graduated from Hot Springs County High School (Thermopolis, WY). He holds an Associate’s Degree in Engineering (Casper College), a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (University of Wyoming), and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (University of Wyoming). He has worked in the private sector as an Operations Engineer (Halliburton), a Customer Database Analyst (Unicover Corporation), and as a Research Director (Wyoming Research Associates). Doug is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Presently, Doug works as a Senior Economist with Research & Planning (R&P). His activities include the development of database applications for survey management, worker commuting patterns, programmatic outcome analysis, short and long-term employment forecasting, and statistical modeling. He regularly contributes to the R&P’s monthly publication, Wyoming Labor Force Trends.
