November 1997 TRENDS:

For the second consecutive month, nonagricultural employment remained below 1996 levels. The Wyoming Civilian Labor Force also continued to decline, falling 2,741 workers over the month and 1,644 over the year. Along with a decreasing number of UI claimants, these facts suggest that workers might be leaving the state for better employment opportunities elsewhere. --DB
