Jodi Davey started as an Administrative Specialist 3 in 2004.
Jodi Davey received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming in Journalism/Public Relations. In 26+ years employment with the Department of Employment and the Department of Workforce Services, she has functionally supervised federally funded CETA, JTPA, TJTC, and Job Corps programs. Her work in JTPA included case management which progressed to an administrative position. This position involved the development and implementation of program procedures as well as training of case managers. Her experience also includes recruitment and screening of job applicants, and enforcing employer registration for Unemployment Insurance and Workers’ Compensation tax purposes. Most recently she worked for over 7 years as a Labor Compliance Officer with the Labor Standards office. As a Compliance Officer she investigated wage claims and discrimination complaints under both state and federal statutes. She utilized alternate resolution methods to resolve complaints, and also gave presentations to employers and employees on discrimination and sexual harassment.
