Last month, due to a delay, Trends was not able to publish the January 1997 unemployment rates for the 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. as a whole. Data releases are now back on schedule; for annual averages, refer to 1994-96 Wyoming annual averages.

NOTE: The 1995 annual average unemployment rate for Wyoming was estimated at 4.8 percent. A 90 percent confidence interval around this estimate suggests that in 9 out of 10 cases the actual rate would fall between 4.2 and 5.4 percent.
