Research & Planning's Labor Market Information web site has expanded considerably in just two years! The Internet address of this page is: http://lmi.state.wy.us/. Underlined words and phrases are "links" to other indicated resources. As you can see, there are many options and services available, including Trends!

Research & Planning strives to continuously update our material, as well as present our readers and Internet users with more resources. New information and links are constantly being added to the page. For example, the publications:

• Electronic Labor Exchange Services: the Employer Perspective,
• An Illustrated History of Employment (1990 & 1994), and
• Tracking University of Wyoming Graduates Into the Wyoming Work-force

were all recently added to the web page. All printed copies of the latter two publications had already been distributed to the public, so their availability on the Internet represents, in effect, a "reprint" of data in demand!

Some other data available from Research & Planning on the Internet includes:

• Current Employment Statistics (CES) data--monthly nonagricultural employment by industry for Wyoming (statewide), Laramie County and Natrona County (from 1988 to 1996) and Wyoming (statewide) annual average data by industry from 1972 to 1996;
• Covered Employment and Wages (ES-202)--the 1994 and 1995 Annual Covered Employment and Wages publications, in their entirety;
• Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS) data--employment and unemployment data for Wyoming (statewide), all of Wyoming's counties (from 1974 to 1996), and the cities of Casper, Cheyenne and Laramie (some years not included);
• Wyoming Wage Survey data--1996 and 1995 survey rounds, covering all occupations.

But I don't have my own computer! If you don't have regular access to the Internet, the Wyoming Department of Employment (http://wydoe.state.wy.us/) has computers at employment centers around the state for public use of the department's Internet resources. This includes Wyoming Labor Market Information, the Wyoming Employment Resources Division (http://wydoe.state.wy.us/erd) and the Wyoming Job Bank (http://onestop.state.wy.us/) and many other types of information.

Kiosks are currently located in 19 cities across Wyoming: Basin (Town Hall), Buffalo (DJ's Thriftway), Casper (Eastridge Mall), Cheyenne (Target), Douglas (Eastern Wyoming College), Green River (City Market), Kemmerer (IGA), Lander (Fremont County Courthouse), Laramie (University of Wyoming Human Resources Office), Lyman (Town Hall), Newcastle (Weston County Courthouse), Powell (County Annex), Rock Springs (City Market), Saratoga (Town Hall), Sundance (Crook County Courthouse), Thermopolis (Chamber of Commerce), Wheatland (Safeway), Worland (NOWCAP), and Thayne (Town Hall). Stop by one of these computers and put the power of the Internet to work for you!
