Dear Employer, Last month, I sent your office a letter (attached) requesting permission to publish your firm’s name as one of Wyoming’s largest employers. Over half of the employers I contacted responded to the first request and your response may be among the late arrivals. If this letter crossed your reply in the mail please disregard this letter, and we thank you for your cooperation. Some employers called in response to the first mailing, dated April 17, to ask why we wanted to publish a list of Wyoming’s largest employers. The major reason for seeking your permission to publish your company’s name as one of the state’s largest employers is that local economic development agencies frequently request this information from us. In order to meet the demand for this information, we are asking that you consider approving the enclosed request. As stated in the attached letter we will not publish any confidential information. The publication will only include your company’s name and location. Enclosed for your convenience, is a self addressed stamped envelope. I would appreciate your response by May 15, 1998.
