Requirements
1. Be an adult.
2. Be of good moral character and repute.
3. Complete an Intern-architect Development Program (IDP) record.
4. Hold a professional degree in architecture from a National
Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) accredited school of architecture.
5. Pass the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE).
Restrictions
Fraud or deceit in obtaining certificate.
School Located in Wyoming
There are no Architectural schools located in Wyoming; however, Wyoming residents are eligible
to study out of state at in-state rates through the Western
Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) program. For more information about

Anyone wishing to practice architecture in Wyoming must be licensed by
the Wyoming State Board of Architects and Landscape Architects.
Examination
The Architectural Registration Examination is administered electronically by
appointment.
