Job Description
Teaches Cosmetology and all related fields such as Esthetics and Manicuring and other nail services.

Requirements
1.  Must be at least 16 years of age.
2.  Must have a High School degree or equivalent.
3.  Must complete 1,000 hours training in a licensed school.
4.  Pass a written and practical examination.
5.  Must be a licensed Cosmetologist, Nail Technologist, Esthetician.
6.  Must have worked for at least 50 weeks at 36 hours per week.

There are numerous beauty schools located throughout Wyoming. Contact the Wyoming Board of Cosmetology for a listing of licensed schools.

License
A license is issued by the Wyoming Board of Cosmetology after meeting the requirements of the state.

Examination
The examination is administered by the Wyoming Board of Cosmetology. It consists of a written exam and a practical exam performed before the Board.
