Wyoming Unemployment Insurance Statistics:
Normalized Initial Claims--Statewide, by Industry

Statewide, initital claims filed decreased 34.3 percent from January 1996 to January 1997. Most of the large number of claims filed in January 1996 occurred in government, due to the federal government shutdown that took place at that time.
