Civilian Labor Force and Unemployment:
National, Statewide, Regional, and Counties

Seasonally Adjusted data shows only a 0.2 percent increase in the Wyoming unemployment rate from December 1995 to January 1996. This indicates that the unemployment rate of 5.6 percent for January 1996 is not unusually high for this time of year. Historical data also suggests that the unemployment rate should decrease in a few months.
