By using this system you agree to have your answers become part of your claim
record. You are certifying that your answers are true and accurate to the best
of your knowledge. Under Wyoming law you could be penalized for giving false
answers or for withholding information. If you end this session before the
system tells you that your report is complete, your answers will not be
recorded, no weeks will be claimed and you will have to repeat the process in
order to claim benefits for the weeks.
Before you begin
Filing your bi-weekly claim by the Internet will be much easier for you if
you take the following steps before continuing:
-
Be sure you have your Social Security Number and your PIN ready.
-
If you worked during the week for any employer you will need the hours worked as well as the
gross amount earned (the total before any deductions, including tips) from each employer. Report
earnings the week earned, not the week the pay is received. Earnings reported are verified with
employers to ensure proper benefit payments.
-
If you received vacation pay or severance pay during the week, be sure you know the gross amount
(the total before any deductions) of each. If you received self-employment income during the week,
be sure you know the net amount earned.
-
If you fail to report earnings or other compensations properly you could be disqualified from receiving
benefits for 52 weeks; also any benefits received could be a collectible debt owed back to the
Department of Employment plus penalties.
-
If you have worked two weeks in a row and earned more than your weekly benefit
amount you will need to reopen your claim by calling (307) 473-3789.
